Laygo Gaskets manufactures heat exchanger gaskets for surface treatment, a process in which metal parts are cleaned in order to add paint or layers that protect the surface from wear and corrosion, as well as for a decorative purpose. For this purpose, almost all of these operations involve operations with fluids that need to be heated or cooled through plate heat exchangers.
Typically, fluids circulate through the heat exchanger by means of a pump that uses water. And this, in turn, can be cooled with either a cooler or a radiator.
The most common heat exchanger in surface treatment is a single coil, although it can sometimes be replaced by external heat exchanger plate that offers endless advantages:
– Less tank and fluid volume required.
– There is no risk of damaging the coils when objects move inside the tank.
– Fluid recirculation provides agitation that decreases or eliminates the need for more agitators.
– Cheap maintenance.
– Possibility of having a reserve unit in case of service
