Frankfurt is now preparing for a new edition of Achema, the world forum specialising in chemical engineering, process engineering and biotechnology, which will be attended by three companies for which Laygo plate heat exchanger gaskets are compatible: Tranter, Alfa Laval and Kelvion (formerly Gea Ecoflex).

This year’s event is scheduled to take place between 11 and 15 June (it is a three-yearly event) and is a unique opportunity to learn first-hand the latest trends in laboratory equipment, pumps, analytical devices, packaging machinery, boilers and heat processing machinery. This is particularly aimed at visitors from the pharmaceutical, chemical and food sectors that will also be able to participate in over 800 conferences offered to support the fair.

The latest gasket technology for plate heat exchangers

Regarding the presence of Tranter, Alfa Laval and Kelvion, special attention should be pointed out for the three companies’ star product: the plate heat exchanger, which, together with its corresponding gasket, is presented as a product of exceptional efficiency and with a highly efficient sealing agent that ensures optimum heat transfer; it also stands out for its easy cleaning and maintenance.

Kelvion also attends Achema accompanied by the so-called K°Bloc, a welded plate heat exchanger that is mainly used in the oil and petrochemical industry, and also stands out for its easy cleaning

Finally, Alfa Laval will also show new technologies related to chemical, biopharmaceutical and water treatment products. These technologies will be specifically targeted to support the 4.0 industry with the aim to reduce energy use, increase productivity, increase uptime or regain the efficiency of waste streams In addition, the stand will also have a centre of experiences in which a wide variety of interactive presentations will be offered, allowing visitors to deepen their knowledge on the most interesting areas and all the most advanced products and solutions.
